My teachers became my second family. They made me feel a part of something bigger for the first time in my life.

Professional Development

The Sacramento County Office of Education's IT Director put out guidance on how to combat the challenges in Zoom. TAP has implemented all security updates. We've taken every step possible to maintain security during our Zoom meetings.

All webinars are recorded and most are posted to the caladulted.org website. However before being posted, all recordings and materials must be remediated to be 508 compliant. This process can take a few weeks. To not delay you receiving the information, it is always best to attend if possible.

The next time you log in you will be able to edit your information before finalizing your registration.

Please verify that your email has been entered correctly. If it has and the message is not in SPAM, your district firewall may be blocking it. To ensure you get the confirmations, please register again using a personal email. If you get the confirmation from the personal email, please contact your IT Department and ask them to assist with making sure the confirmation emails sent to your work email are not blocked from being received. You can show them the personal email confirmation body so they can see who it is being sent by, which will help them fix the problem.

The password that is listed on the site is correct and working, it is case sensitive: v7^+$D6G

The Ed Code Neil referred to is EC 84906. We have that webinar posted on our site. You may find it helpful to review it to see his slides on the ed code. Here is the link: https://caladulted.org/ContentSystem/Content/Video/120

The Adult Ed 101 Resource Page with the links to all of the adult education onboarding resources can be found here on the CAEP Consortia Onboard Resources page of our website.

Your teachers are able to access Google Classroom by creating a public account.

Create a Google account (accounts.google.com) with a name that denotes or connotes ""Teacher"" hat students will recognize.

Then they can setup and use classroom on their public Google accounts that end with @gmail.

They can't use the Club - but they can always use the Pub.

Your teachers can attend OTAN Office hours today at 4:00p or Friday at 1:00p. The trainer will be able to assist with setting up Google Classroom.

Your teachers can attend the upcoming Google Classroom webinars on Friday and Monday.

Everyone can register for these opportunities by going to caadultedtraining.org and searching Sponsor "OTAN."

Unfortunately, in-person workshops are not recorded. Please continue to check the https://register.caladulted.org/ events page for upcoming webinar and regional in-person events.

The system will email all registered an evaluation link within 3 days of the completion of the event. If you did not receive it, please email tap@caladulted.org with the name of the event and date. TAP will email the evaluation to you.

CAEP funds cannot be used to support costs to attend the awards banquet. That would be a gift of public funds. Another option would be to blast it to your network of CAEP folks and see if anyone is able to donate personal funds.

The receipt should have come directly from PayPal to your email. What we can grab is slightly less information than the receipt will have. It is attached. However, you will notice it doesn't include the last four digits of the card used. If you need that, you will have to contact PayPal directly. Hopefully this will work.

Not all presenters provided handouts. If they did, we have uploaded them to the conference website. You can locate them following these steps:Log in to the Summit.caladuled.org site Click on Conference in the top ribbon , Click on Schedule in the top ribbon , Scroll to the sessions you are interested in and click on the name. If resources have been provided, they will show under Documents on the bottom of the screen that provides the description/presenters for that session.

Payment was taken directly by PayPal. With that, the actual receipt should have been sent by them. It will show the last four digits of the credit card used. What we can provide you is a receipt with the transaction ID, but not the last four of the card used. We can share a copy of your registration, showing it was paid in full. If you need a more detailed receipt, please contact PayPal and provide them with the transaction ID from the receipt we shared.

The receipt should have come from PayPal directly. I have attached what I can access from their website for the payment.

We are working with presenters to get any available handouts and get them uploaded to the site.

You will access handouts via the conference website. Please follow these steps:

Log in to the Summit.caladuled.org site
Click on Conference in the top ribbon
Click on Schedule in the top ribbon
Scroll to the sessions you are interested in and click on the name.
If resources have been provided, they will show under Documents on the bottom of the screen that provides the description/presenters for that session.
We are only able to upload resources if they are 508 Compliant. I know presenters are working on them. Some presenters may choose not to share.

It may be a good idea to check back once in a while, as we will continue to upload any we received.
