Programs aligned to this area might focus on regional and local policies, developing systems, supervision and management of staff, organizational change, leveraging resources, or capacity building at the consortium and local level.

Top 10 Student Centered Uses of Federal Stimulus

The American Rescue Plan presents hope and opportunity amidst a difficult year. The $2.3 billion investment that California’s community colleges will soon receive from the Federal stimulus provides leaders an opportunity to innovatively re-invest the one-time funds in much-needed systemic changes that can ensure equitable opportunities and outcomes for all students. As colleges craft spending plans aligned with federally allowable uses, a group of community college leaders crafted 10 ideas centered around student needs and the urgency to act in their best interest. The needs range from replacing costs for student resources that would normally be provided by the college inside classrooms and support areas to providing direct emergency grants to students in need and most affected by the pandemic. CAEP Three-Year Plan PLC - January

CAEP consortium directors participated in discussion on relevant questions concerning the CAEP 2022-25 Three-Year Plan. This third conveying of this peer learning circle focused discussions around the timeline and deliverable due dates, self-sufficiency standard report, what years are being used for baseline data points, what is reportable, NOVA, metrics, targets, and how the annual plan fits into the three-year plan in NOVA.
