Data and Accountability Reporting
This committee--made up of representatives from K-12 adult schools, community college credit programs, community college noncredit programs, CDE, and the Chancellor’s Office--met four times to make recommendations regarding data definitions, tracking, and reporting. Before each meeting, WestEd prepared a white paper that outlines possible approaches, the pros and cons of each option, and how each option relates to both legislative priorities and student pathways. The recommendations of the committee culminated in the report titled Measuring Our Success: Data and Accountability Systems and Common Assessment in the California Adult Education Block Grant Program.
